482 Sponsorship & Nomination Lawyers for Employers
Employer-side strategy for Skills in Demand (Subclass 482) sponsorship and nominations: stream selection, occupation, labour market testing, Annual Market Salary Rate, genuine position evidence and sponsor compliance.

A 482 matter is three connected decisions: sponsor, position and worker.
The business does not simply ‘give’ a 482 visa. The employer must hold or seek appropriate sponsor status and nominate a position; the individual separately applies for the visa and proves their own skills, experience, English and other requirements.
Core Skills stream
For eligible occupations on the Core Skills Occupation List where the position meets the applicable market salary and income threshold settings.
Specialist Skills stream
For qualifying high-salary specialist roles within the occupational parameters of the Specialist Skills stream.
Labour Agreement stream
For employers operating under an approved labour agreement where standard program settings do not meet the workforce need.
The nomination is a business case, not a payroll form.
We build the employer evidence around why the role exists, why the occupation fits, how salary was set, how recruitment was conducted and why the business can support the position.
What we handle

Where employers get exposed
- Advertising that does not satisfy labour market testing rules
- Role duties that do not align with the nominated occupation
- Salary evidence that does not establish the market rate
- Position descriptions written around the candidate rather than the business need
- Weak financial or organisational evidence for the role
- Assuming a strong visa applicant can cure a deficient employer nomination
Commercially clear. Legally defensible.
We structure the employer case before lodgement so the documents, position, salary and workforce rationale tell the same story.
